MetrixLab's TRAIN© research is designed to evaluate comprehensively and directly any training or course you provide for your employees. TRAIN© enables you to determine structurally and cost-efficiently the effects of the various courses you offer and, equally important, realize sustainable improvements.

By means of short, inviting and fun surveys, TRAIN© measures participants' expectations, experiences and consequential behaviour at preset intervals – that is, before and after each course or training. This method provides you with every opportunity to improve the design, content and effectiveness of your educational proposition.

Methodology and setup

TRAIN© is usually divided into two stages of measurement. The first measurements take place before the training and deal with the current non-influenced ideas and opinions your employees have on the topic at hand. They provide you with a clear notion of their views, while at the same time allowing you to define and refine your goals for the training in question.

Directly following the training, we present the participating employees with a second survey. The techniques we use provoke the participants to share their thoughts and provide you with qualitative feedback as well as input for your upcoming trainings. By means of follow-up surveys over a certain amount of time, we measure the residual effects of the training and any adaption of the learnings in practice. Thus, we can accurately estimate the direct effects of your communication efforts in the training so you will know exactly how to refine and accentuate your message and improve the effectiveness of your training setups in the future.
